Why do I support Donald Trump for President?

Because I support a “movement” (as Mr. Trump labels his “followers”) which began years ago  and coalesced again in the early months of 2009, when the transformation of America became a reality and not merely a word in another politician’s electrifying speech…

As someone who was raised in the US, Argentina and Japan and worked for many years in Europe, my perception, of what is happening in the United States now under waves and waves of discontent, is no different from Americans who have never left the Homeland.   A country, whose peoples, for the last 240 years, have inspired, enlightened and influenced the peoples of most nations in the world, is once again at the forefront of a revolution… of ideas, a “peaceful revolution…” against the arrogance of power.

Ronald Reagan once expressed, “Freedom is the right to question and change the established way of doing things…,” but that was almost half a century ago…Since then our freedoms have been regularly eroding, under piles and piles of regulations and our Constitution (which supports and protects human freedom and   the rule of law, and is a model for many a country in the world,  from Europe to Latin America, Asia, Africa, the Middle East and last but not least, the United Nations…) is  now deemed by many in the United States  judiciary and academia as antiquated,  a relic of yesteryear in these robotic and high tech times…

As I see it, this November may be our last chance…  we must ask ourselves, not as a woman or man, Latino or Anglo, Hispanic or German, African American or Asian American, Protestant, Catholic, Hindu, Muslim or Jew but as a Citizen (and /or resident)  of the United States, what do we want? A government of the people of the United States, by the people of the United States and for the people of the United States… where “we the people of the United States tell the government of the United States what to do,” or succumb… totally, once and for all, to progressive and corrosive globalist/internationalist agendas…

As the Great Communicator once also said, “the best minds are not in government. If any were, business would steal them away…” We have a candidate who happens to be a businessman, not a groomed politician, one who follows his own script, many times without mincing words.  He is a man of our times, with personal setbacks and many achievements, as constantly reported by the press. One only has to drive up or down the Henry Hudson Parkway to see a few of his concrete successes, building after building scraping the New York sky…
